A daughter is a miracle that never ceases to be miraculous,
full of beauty, and forever beautiful.

Although this video clip is only 19 seconds I just had to share. This is from our camping trip last summer, but I just stumbled across it. Here is Chalee playing campfire songs with her Pops!
Chalee went downtown to the zoo so see the fireworks from the bank of the white river. She met another little girl, named Zoe, who had also brought a stuffed dog to the festivites. She stood quietly with her little hand over her heart while they played the national anthem. She makes me proud! And although she thought the fireworks were pretty, she said she was tired and was ready to go home right before the finale. No wonder after traveling all day! We were in the car about 2 mintues before she was sound asleep. Happy Birthday America!
Chalee and I had so much fun with my parents in Massachusetts! The beach was fun although the water was very cold! We walked through town, fed seagulls, learned how to boogie board and even flew a kite and blew bubbles. Chalee did a great job on the plane and ferry rides. She was quite the little traveler and even rolled her own suitcase through the airports. We had cake on her birthday and for several days after that. Chalee came nose to nose with her first lobster and even sampled a bite which she promptly spit into her hand. When we were on the ferry she tossed a penny overboard and wished ‘that a mermaid would find her penny’. She also told Gammy so sweetly that next time Gammy came back to her home that Chalee would like to come with her because she liked Gammy’s home. Hopefully we will be back sooner than later!
