Chalee Lynn Page

Today Chalee brought cupcakes to her class to share.  Daddy and Mommy both came and got Chalee up from her nap.  The teachers passed out all the cupcakes…but just when the kids were ready to dig in the fire alarm went off and everyone had to leave the building.  It was very cute seeing all the kids reluctantly leave their cupcake and head to the door.  After snack time at school we took Chalee to Chuck E Cheese as is customary.  She had a blast playing games and walked out with a few plastic snakes,  a plastic frog, and what I hope are a lot of great memories!  Happy birthday to our little Cupcake!

Chalee told Eric and I this morning that she has been waiting “days and days to be four!”

Chalee told me last night that she was a super hero and that when it was dark out she would fly around and save animals even though she was suppose to be in bed.  When I asked her what her super power was she thought really hard before announcing “I can eat cheese real fast!”   This of course is one of the best super powers you can have for saving animals…I mean you can’t do that on an empty stomach and you don’t want to take too long to eat when animals need help.  She also informed me that she was allergic to frogs…”not the stuffed ones but the real ones”.  I can only assume that frogs are her kryptonite!  I asked her if they made her itch and she replied “No, they just make me scared”.

As you can tell Chalee has an extremely well developed imagination!

Chalee started swim lessons and has joined the Chapel Glen Pool Sharks. She is learning a ton from her life guard, Jillian, and has had fun competing in the meets. She swam her first two heats in 37 and 27 seconds. Every week she is getting more confident in her abilities and has even jumped off of the diving board and gone under the water without holding her nose!
