Cute Little Stuff

May-28-2008 By jill

Chalee is feeling under the weather and had kind of a rough night last night. After listening to her cough for a bit I got up and gave her some medicine and brought her back to bed with me. When I got up this morning Chalee was fast asleep turned sideways in my bed fussing with the blankets. She kept say “Don’t want it” and kicking at the blankets. When she was finally free she settled back down. When I came back into the bedroom after getting ready, Chalee was still sound asleep and saying “I do it myself, I do it” (which is her new mantra). I wish I knew what she was dreaming about!

Just had to share, it was really cute. She is even independent in her sleep.

Busy Memorial Day Weekend

May-25-2008 By jill

Chalee had fun this weekend visiting her grandparents.  She started the weekend with Grandmonny and Grandpoppy Garcia.  She then went to vist Papa and Nena, and then back with Mommy Sunday to hang out with Grammy and Pops.  What a beautiful day  for outdoor play time!  Pops took Chalee on a wheelbarrow ride and Gammy tried to teach Chalee how to pull her wagon with Bailey inside.  Chalee and all  were exhausted by the end of the day

Visiting Tennessee

May-22-2008 By jill

Chalee and Mommy went down to see Granny and Granddad Copeland.  It is amazing when you see Chalee through the eyes of someone that hasn’t seen her in awhile.  All the little things that have become common place when you are around her all the time are pointed out and it makes you proud all over again.   She had a lot of fun and was pretty easy-going considering the amount of time we were in the car.  I didn’t take very many pics this weekend…but there are a few of her in some really cute animal masks that Sissy got for her.  I also have to add how cute is was when Chalee started calling their dog Scruffy…”Cuffy”.

This is a pic of Chalee in tiger persona…she would growl at Sissy with her hands in the air  and then say “I cared h-her”…which is “I scared her” and then laugh.  Very adorable.

The Park

May-5-2008 By jill

Chalee and I went to the park after her doctor’s appointment.  Everything looks good with her ears, but she will have to go back for shots soon.  That is one of my least favorite parent times.  But anyway back to the park….She loved the swings and was fearless on the slide.  She made friends with another little girl who she refered to as ‘baby’… I think  because she had a pacifier.  When it was time to go, Chalee began the bargaining stage of playtime by telling me just “one more time”.   She, of course, got to go ‘one more time” many more times.  I am so grateful the weather has been nice enough for her to get out and run off some energy.  (Which she is full of these days)  I am including the link to the gallery and some cute video clips.  Click here for the picture gallery.
