She’s the CHEESIEST!

Apr-16-2007 By jill

Chalee just tried Kraft mac n cheese…and she loves it.  Did you know that stuff comes in mini microwavable packets!!  Man how the times have changed.  Anyway, I think it is adorable how when she sucks them in, the noodles whistle!!  But man is that powdered cheese hard to get off with wet wipes!

 More cheesy pics!

Satuday we had our first family outing to the Children’s Museum.  Chalee had a blast meeting Clifford the Big Red Dog, playing in the Baby Scape, and checking out the Fireworks of Glass display. We even got to ride on the carousel.  By the time we left Mommy, Daddy, and Aunt Pam were exhausted, but it was awesome to see how excited she was!   It was a great day!

April Pictures and New Teeth!

Apr-11-2007 By jill

Chalee went to get her Easter pictures, and as you’ll see, she had better things to do.  Trying to get her to sit still…let alone look at the camera is getting harder!  Anyway, I think we still were able to get some adorable shots…and the candids are the funniest ones.  We got a great shot of the famous “crinkle nose” and a bunch of “bye bye” shots.  I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, the child loves to wave.  Also, since our last post Chalee has gotten her top two canine teeth and her two front teeth are pushing through as well.  That makes for a rather unhappy baby, but at least with them all coming in at once its quick.  She has also started eating finger foods, and seems to really like ravioli.

Chalee is 9 Months Old !!

Apr-4-2007 By jill

Wow another month has just flown by!  We had a visit with the Doc, and she now weighs 21 pounds and is 27 3/4 inches long.  That’s 80th percentile in weight and 50th in height…which I find hard to believe because she seems so tall to me!  She still just has her two teeth, but her top gums are swollen and we are watching close for that first top tooth.  She is also pulling up on everything and will walk around things while she holds on.  She is just such a sweet and smiley baby.  We were able to take her to the park to try out the slide and swingset.  She prefered the slide…but then again Mommy doesn’t like swings either!  But I will try to not let my fears hamper her fun.  She is enjoying herself at the new sitter’s and has lots of other little girls to play with.  We are working on the no-hair-pulling-rule with both people and the animals.  Her favorite thing to say is still Dada, but I get the occasional Momma now, too.  Every once in a while she throws in a kitty cat, baby, duck, ball, or dog…although the words rarely go with the correct object. She loves to wave goodbye..and hello..and how are you…and, well she just loves to wave.  She will actually stop mid crawl to wave if you talk to her.  She is still shaking her head NO at every question you ask or food she doesn’t want (not sure where she got that stubborn streak) but at least that is one word she hasn’t picked up.  She likes to share her stuff, but only if you give it right back.  Busy Busy Busy!  Spring pictures will be coming soon!

This is the “What’d I do?” look that I get when I tell her no standing in the tub.

She’s so cute even when she’s being naughty!
