Archive for February, 2007

The baptism on Sunday was a beautiful ceremony, and Chalee was the little angel we all know she is! She did a little hair pulling (Sorry Sindy) but otherwise was so good at church. Every time the priest would raise his hand to bless her, she would try to do Hi-Five….so funny. And at one point he spoke of exorcism and casting off original sin…and right at that moment Chalee arched her back and threw her hands up and yelled “WEEEEE”. It was hard to keep a straight face. The dinner was very nice, and it was wonderful to have the family there. A special thanks to Daddy, who dressed up and looked so sharp in his suit, as well as Uncle Cory and Aunt Pam who were named the God Parents. Chalee is so blessed to have such a large loving family, and Eric and I are blessed to have a beautiful, healthy little girl. She brings tears to my eyes daily as she changes and grows. We couldn’t do it without our parents and loved ones!

Chalee Bathtime Video

Feb-24-2007 By Eric
Adorable video of her playing in the bath and her first big word caught on film.  DUCK!

I’m sure she will be horrified to know her little bum was on the web for all the family too see…but she’s so cute in the tub that I can’t help it!!

Raggedy Ann and Andy

Feb-23-2007 By jill

Grammy, Mommy and I went to tea!  We got to read books, sing songs, and make crafts.  The best part of all was when I got to meet Raggedy Ann and Andy!  I got my first Ann and Andy dolls…and a giraffe with patches on his knees…and books!  I was so excited the whole time I was there, and I got soooo sleepy that I passed out on the way home.  Thank you Grammy for so much fun! And thank you Pops for driving us in the snow!

Playtime with Rings

Feb-23-2007 By jill

Thank you’s for Uncle Joel and Aunt Katie for this toy.  She loves it and can’t hurt herself when she bangs her head with the rings.  We have lots of fun sticking them on her arms legs and head.  She is so smart that she has figured out how to get them no matter where you put them.  I need to turn on the red eye flash on my camera, but they are still the sweetest pics!

I look pretty in Blue!

Here’s some pics of Chalee all bundled up in her big blue coat!  I think the pictures speak for themselves.

Here’s more!!!

Some adorable pics of Chalee trying new things.  She looks like she hates that lemon…but she just kept sucking on it.  And she snatched the carrot right out of Grammy’s hand!  Not sure the Cutie Pie has met a food she truly did not like.

My first tooth! My first Cookie!

Feb-18-2007 By jill

Chalee got her first tooth on January 12th.  It is on her bottom left.  Grammy found it when ChaCha chomped down on her finger.  Since then, she has used that first tooth to eat cookies and toast…and recently moved on to cheesy poofs, which are her favorite.  She makes the most adorable orange disaster.  Click here for pics to commemorate her first cookie!   As you can see, Chalee was not excited about the thought of sharing her treat with her buddy Oscar.  He usually waits patiently under the highchair for when she drops or throws down the leftovers.
