Getting ready for Christmas!

Nov-28-2006 By jill

Here are the pics from the Christmas photo shoot.  It was really great having Katie and Joel in town!  Uncle Cory was doting as usual, and we all had a good time laughing at all the silly faces that you get stuck with when you are waiting for a baby to smile at the camera.  For everyone’s sake, I left out the crazy eyes and lip licking.  So these are the best of the best, and I must say, we are a pretty nice looking group of siblings!  Chalee was a ham for the camera…as she always is!  Do you think she’ll have time to be a doctor and a model?  Check out the Christmas Portrait Album!

A big thanks to Uncle Cory for capturing these adorable pics of our little lady.  She is just the coolest thing since sliced bread, and if you haven’t noticed the trend…She really enjoys wearing glasses.

The next few are care of Grandpa Page….Sweet potatoes? Carrots?  Who knows, but she looks like she enjoyed them.

Daddy’s 30th Birthday

Nov-13-2006 By jill

Although I am usually the center of attention…I stepped down briefly to allow my Daddy to have the spotlight for his 30th Birthday!  Mommy tried to surprise him, and she almost succeeded.  Macaroni Grill was fun…I fussed a lot and bonked my head on the table, but I did like the balloons and silly disguises.  I think Daddy had fun.  Everyone had yummy food, and Daddy got lots of presents!  There were thirty cupcakes!  Why, you ask?  Hmmm, maybe you should talk to Uncle Scottie.  Daddy got stuff to make coffee and video games from the boys.  I can’t wait until next year when I can help Daddy blow out his candles!

Thank you to everyone for making Daddy’s 30th Birthday a special Day!!!

Guess how much I’ve grown!

Nov-9-2006 By jill

Chalee went to the Doctor this week and had lots of shots.  She was a very grouchy girl for a few days, but she seems to be back to the cheerful child she usually is.  She weighed in at a whopping 15 lbs 5 oz and is a little over 25 inches long.  That flat little head of hers appears to be rounding out a bit, so that’s good.  This past weekend was a busy one…she went to the shower for Gavin and is anxiously awaiting his arrival.  She also made her first thrift store outing with me and my Mom.  This is a tradition she will be getting used to I’m sure.  I’m including a few pics…more to come!

Growing up too fast!

Nov-2-2006 By jill

Wow, what a big month this has been already and it is only the 2nd!  Today, I rolled over for the first time.  Mommy and Daddy cheered for me and I was very proud of myself!  I am also eating fruits and veggies now.  I think they are yummy.  So far I have tried apple, pears, bananas, peaches, sweet potato, peas, green beans, carrots, and squash.  I still like my cereal alot, but I seem to favor the veggies more then the fruits.  Speaking of vegetables I dressed up like a pumpkin for Halloween!  That’s a gourd, but it was fun, anyway.  The dog was crazy and I liked all the big kids that came to the door.  I am looking forward to next year when I’ll be big enough to go around the block!  I am sitting up pretty well, but I still flop over if I try for too long.  (That scares Mommy and I think it is funny!)  I also just started to hold on to my bottle and even try to put it in my own mouth.  Sometimes I make it, but it likes to go in my nostril, but I am trying!  Daddy says that I am get to be such a little lady.  Check out my pics in Album 7!
